According to a social media post by Ochiegbu Marvelous, the suspect, identified as Ikechukwu Emmanuel from Amaegbuato, Nkpa, Bende Local Government Area of Abia State, allegedly defiled the girl on August 16, 2026.
The post claimed that the suspect allegedly admitted to the act during an interaction, saying he ejaculated inside the child.
It was further alleged that youths in the Umuana community apprehended him on August 18 after he reportedly refused to open his door and allegedly threw the girl out through a window.
The poster also claimed that the suspect said the girl usually visited him because she was hungry and that he would give her food.
The allegation has sparked outrage, with the poster questioning how a 9-year-old child could have become vulnerable to such an alleged act while simply seeking food.
The matter has reportedly drawn calls for justice for the child.
